For over 40 years, as both an industry employee and independent consultant, Gregg has been directly and indirectly involved in energy related industries. For over 15 years, Gregg has served as an industry instructor, lecturer and speaker. He routinely teaches courses in oil & gas drilling & production operations, mechanical engineering, offshore catastrophes including personnel and equipment safety, well deepening and well servicing operations, pipeline safety and pipeline materials for construction.
Gregg graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1973. In 1978, he became a registered Professional Engineer. Gregg is currently registered in thirteen (13) states.
While employed in industry, Gregg worked as an oilfield Roughneck, Derrickman and Serviceman in offshore and onshore drilling and completion operations. Subsequently, he was employed in the oilfield service industry as a Design Engineer, Field Engineer, Engineering Manager, Vice President of Engineering and Director of Manufacturing.
Gregg is presently an inventor and co-inventor of thirteen (13) patents and has authored and co-authored a number of industry related articles and technical papers.
